My dear brothers & sisters in Christ,

Keeping with the theme of changes in my life this year, I thought that I would try something new and write a blog. I don't really have all that much to say, I am just starting this with the hope of bringing others to Christ and hopefully falling more in love with Him myself.

My name is Courtney, and I'll just talk a little bit about myself for a second. I am a young Catholic who is incredibly passionate about The Church and Jesus and everything that is holy. In the fall, I will be majoring in Catechetics and Theology at Franciscan University. I'm trying my best to live for Christ, but I screw up way more than I succeed. My favorite thing about myself is my sense of humor, because I am almost always laughing at something. I have been blessed with a beautiful family and amazing friends (Leah, that was for you). I enjoy playing guitar and singing, I have a strange obsession with sloths, and I have type one diabetes. I have a soft spot for Disney movies and corny musicals. My favorite food is movie theater popcorn. I love Matt Maher, Kari Jobe, Hillsong, Audrey Assad, annnnd One Direction (one of these things is not like the others....). I don't really consider myself to be super girly, but I can definitely rock a dress and heels when the occasion is right. I like playing sports, but they all hate me. I spend way too much time on tumblr (perfectly-alright.tumblr.com), but that's 82% of the reason why I'm so darn hilarious.

In short, this is just going to be a place where I can talk about my struggles, joys, triumphs, pains... and hopefully help some amazing people on the way.
